The North Philadelphia of Seventh-day Adventists is a member congregation of the worldwide faith community of Christians known as Seventh-day Adventists. Located in the beautiful Philadelphia, PA. This Church has been serving her members and community since her birth in 1955; espousing a ministry that does not recognize distinctions of race, class or national origin.

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church's understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture.

CHURCH STRUCTURE & GOVERNANCE The Seventh-day Adventist Church is organized with a representative form of church government. This means authority in the Church comes from the membership of local churches. Executive responsibility is given to representative bodies and officers to govern the Church. Four levels of Church structure lead from the individual believer to the worldwide Church organization:

THE DIVISIONS, HEADQUARTERS, AND GEOGRAPHICAL DESCRIPTIONS ARE: Africa-Indian Ocean (AID) Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire; 32 mostly French-speaking countries across Africa to Indian Ocean islands. Eastern Africa (EAD) Harare, Zimbabwe; ten nations primarily along the east coast from Djibouti to Botswana.

Our mission at North Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church is to be a church where the Gospel is preached and the Word is taught; a place where children and youth are nurtured and grow in the faith.

We welcome you to our history and present ministries. The North Philadelphia Adventist Church has been serving the North Philadelphia community since 1955. The church has a rich heritage of leaders who have served the church and community well throughout the years. .

Adventists base their faith in God as revealed through Jesus Christ and as shown through the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Faith: Faith means placing complete trust in God, and accepting his offer of salvation. Such trusting faith is fundamental to Adventist beliefs.
